Montanans for Choice
Every Montanan should be free to access abortion, contraception, and gender affirming care when they need it, without government interference.
In the Treasure State, we know that our freedom is precious. Abortion, contraception, and gender affirming care are legal and available in Montana.
We’re fighting to make sure everyone can decide what’s best for them, including being free to consent to sex, choose your partners, use the contraceptive method of your choice (including no method at all if that’s your preference), and access abortion care if and when you need it.
We must be free to decide what’s best for our lives, our bodies, and our futures.
![This week’s Roses and Thorns:
The Massachusetts Legislature voted to lift its 24-week abortion ban, and bill is headed to the governor’s desk.
“The 24-week rule has forced dozens of patients annually to travel out of state for abortion care after receiving devastating medical diagnoses.”

Meanwhile... anti-abortion Todd Blanche was confirmed as Attorney General. He recently told religious groups that he was working to strengthen Dobbs in every state. Politico reports that “Blanche’s remarks... go far beyond the actions on abortion he promised during his confirmation hearing. They also conflict with promises President Donald Trump made on the campaign trail to keep the federal government from enforcing restrictions on [abortion] pills.”](https://scontent-den2-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/770402182_18211972408352682_139402046248733394_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_tt6&_nc_cat=110&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=xj_CEnDzTzIQ7kNvwFoZrHY&_nc_oc=AdptkPfhAI3QhWdzjN_DIVfnhMWUWLnQnXGq8GE702ijIS_wAiP5MGbzxyoV1h701Qs&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-den2-1.cdninstagram.com&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&_nc_gid=YbcPChnOzQM-oNxVPxGJSQ&_nc_tpa=Q5bMBQJuBHlF_Uv3IbEcZLQqYMKhzSDRwoedE7n5P4A4QlsCgcIyMfiAqZTOPPrApD5-ZTbFsVuMPAiE&oh=00_AQN4JnSucGu0RfDPrxtuxnJZQ4x5xqXAFmIGAGoPz4dQ7A&oe=6AC45672)
